04 - Pivot AdvisoryStrategy & implementation

Strategy that ends in something working.

For clients we do not hold equity in, the engagement runs the full length: strategy with the leadership team, the application built and connected on the ground, and a system your own team runs long after we are gone. The advisory lead and the product and engineering team are one engagement, not two vendors in sequence. The people who scope the project are the people who do it.

What we do

We work with leadership teams on where the business is stuck and how the work should run instead, then we build and connect the AI application that makes the new way real. Five steps, one team: find the friction, redesign the work, build the application, connect it, improve it in production.

No decks handed over and forgotten. We embed for the length of the work, your team owns it the day we leave, and the capability keeps running.

Common questions

What does Pivot Advisory do?

Pivot Advisory is the fee-based side of the firm, for clients we hold no equity in. An engagement starts with the leadership team and the process that is slowing the business down, and ends with a working system your own team runs. AI implementation is what most clients arrive for.

Do you implement the work or only advise?

We implement. We embed a senior product and engineering team for the length of the work, build and ship the AI capability, and hand it over working. See AI implementation in South Africa.

Does Pivot Partners take equity in advisory clients?

No. Advisory engagements are fee-based and we hold no equity in the client. Equity and operating involvement sit on the Pivot Ventures side of the firm, a separate relationship.

Who owns the work after the engagement ends?

Your team. We design for handover from the start, so the day we leave your team owns the strategy, the systems and the AI capability, and it keeps running.
