Pivot Partners brings three sensibilities into one room: the founder who has built and sold companies, the advisor who has run M&A inside listed corporates, and a senior engineering team that ships production AI for a living.
Two careers, give or take. Between us we’ve started and run digital agencies. We’ve taken startups from kitchen table idea through to acquisition. We’ve built tech that scales and optimises processes. And we’ve spent serious years inside investment banking, running listed-business M&A and business development teams and advising boards: the space where capital and strategy actually intersect.
It’s an unusual mix. It also turned out to be the right one. Building and running a business, writing code and executing transformative transactions and partnerships are different jobs, with different muscles. Most firms only ever see one side.
Then AI came along. From the start we made a deliberate call: this isn’t something we want to write about: it’s something we want to enable inside companies at all facets. So we built a senior tech team alongside the advisory practice and got to work.
What you get today is three sensibilities in one room. The founder who’s been there. The advisor who knows how to land it. The engineering team that designs and ships it.

We’ve spent a decade in the African continent’s biggest investment bank and led M&A inside a listed corporate. Landing strategic partnerships and deals, raising capital, managing complex stakeholders. We’ve lived it all first hand.
The Technologist.
A senior engineering team that builds production AI for a living: agentic systems, internal copilots, automations, data infrastructure. Nothing experimental. Things that move numbers on Monday.
